My roommate lost 40lbs in 2 months on the HCG diet. It was baby weight from having her kid. Then she went back to just eating right during the week and eat what ever she wanted on the weekends. She lost a few more pounds and she looks great! The key for her is the "free" weekends, she really doesn't worry about what she eats on the weekends but eats good during the week. I think that keeps the bodies metabolism in check, so it doesn't go into conservation mode. Worked great for her!

Ya, the HCG is a hormone drop you take that is supposed to curve your apatite and boost your metabolism. The main reason the diet works is cus is a 500 calorie a day diet! She stuck to it HARD CORE and never cheated the whole 2 month and it worked.

Exactly, I would never recommend anyone eat the 500 cals they offer you. Its simply way too low imo.
