Yeah but when the gm and dodge guys are getting north of 15mpg city with similar mods... it just sucks to get 360 miles out of a 30 gallon, $115 tank of fuel. I have a buddy with an identical truck with identical mods getting 14mpgthe around town and 20the highway... the 6.0 diesels are hit or miss

I can't argue with your train of thought here Cody. Other hobbies tend to replace the truck modding once you become a parent and home owner. I would suggest going with whatever will require the least about of maintenance and will require the least amount of upgrades. It becomes less fun to work on a vehicle when it's not voluntary. If that means you need to get a Ford than so be it. I still plan on getting a Dmax like Corey later this year or early next year and I still plan on abusing your knowledge when the time comes, so don't think just because you want a ford you can forget what you know about Dmax's.
I've noticed that house mods are more fun than truck mods!!

I don't need reminders of how good ya'll have it out there!! :
I already talked to my realtor out here about putting my house up for sale. If her assumptions prove to be right, I "should" see a $40K profit in the 4 years I've lived in this house. But we all know how assumptions go...
Where I chose to live from that point on...
