Default difference between 87 v6 and v8 camaro?

ive always tossed around the idea of puttin a ls1 into a thirdgen and i found a v6 right here down the street from me that the guy wants 1300 for. body has no rust and frame looks straight, so my question is are there any major differences between the v6 and v8 besides the actual motor itself? is the frame the same, suspension, etc.? thanks fellas

so if i take out the v6, the standard Spohn LSX conversion mounts should work as well as a LSX conversion transmisson crossmember?

yes, after you install the right mounts the motor and trans should just slip in and sit
like it came that way.
just make sure you have a yok for the 60e trans for when you get the custom drive shaft made.
and if the car does not have a return fuel line, put one in while everything is out,
it's allot easier to do when you got the room.
