If you love red dirt music you owe it to yourselves to go to the Music Fest in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. It's a week long party of skiing and concerts. There were 40 bands that played this year at 4 venues in the small town. I got to see several great bands every night and got totally shitfaced lol

Id love to go hit up Music Fest. My best friend at work that was killed last May was a huge Red Dirt music fan and we had planned to go to Music Fest in the next couple years. Me and some of the guys are still talking about going. Id also like to hit up Wolfdance. Ive heard thats a pretty cool time.

Well me and a bunch of friends went to see Jeff Allen and Bleu Edmondson last nite at Sticky Fingers in LR. They both put on a hell of a show. We actually wound up doing 4 rounds of shots with Jeff Allen and his guitar player who looks creepishly like Buddy Holly. I mean its scary how much they resemble each other. Anyhow we had a hell of a time. I ran into a few people I know through friends at work and they hung out with us all nite. All in all it was a good time.
