If you do make it out here, be sure to do the Yuengling tour in Pottstown PA as well. They have a few microbrews that are top notch. http://www.yuengling.com/beers.htm

I actually requested samples from all the local micro brewerys for my wedding. They all were more than happy to provide samples. I found some new local favorites from that as well as ones to avoid at all cost. Barley Creek Brew Bub actually gave me a 1/2 keg of their IPA FREE. By far their best is Iron Arm Belgian Style Wheat brew however I am partial to a good unfiltered Belgian wheat beer of any make.

If you are looking to get hammered off of one brew, than the Sam Adams Utopia collection will get it done...

http://www.samueladams.com/world_of_beer.aspx

EXPENSIVE and hard to come by however if you ever get the chance, try one...you'll always remember it. They are served warm and with an alcohol content nearing 27%, one 12 oz beer is deadly.

Yuengling is one of my favorite beer's however since you can only get it in like 5 states or something and Michigan isnt one of them, I can only get it when my buddy I work with goes to visit his family in North Carolina or Pennsylvania. It is worth the wait though

Any other opinions on the 90 minute? The class 6 on base has a nice selection and there's a few different dogfish heads, if not there is a beer specialty store about 15 minutes away with a lot of different micro brews.

We used to be able to buy Yuengling but it's not around anymore.

If you like porters/stouts, try Stone Imperial Russian Stout. Makes Guinness taste like water It's also 10.5%

I like it, but you gotta be able to take the taste if you're not familiar to it. Nice and hoppy!
