I just can't get into the IPA's. I tried one of the DHF IPA's and couldn't do it.

I'll stick to my Paulaner and Franziskaner Hefe-Weizens. The Franziskaner Hefe-Weissbier Dunkel is the ****.

DFH make some decent stuff. If you like some of their big beers then try some from Avery and Great Divide. Avery has a great imperial IPA called the Maharaja and a wonderful Belgian Grand Cru called The Beast (14.9%). The Hercules Double IPA from Great Divide is one of my favorites. Some of the Boulevard Smoke Stack Series are very nice also and can't forget Stone Brewing with there nice selection of IPA's! I could go on and on.

Mostly I'll stick to making my own. 10 gallons for $30-$60 depending on recipe and I can make whatever style I want!

A friend of mine got to go to Sierra Nevada's beer camp a few weeks a go and brew beer on their system. They ended up brewing an American Stock ale they called Old Cantankerous.
