Sorry to hear about this and it's good to hear you will be ok. I kinda know what you are going through. I'm currently waiting for my doctor to schedule an MRI. I've been having neck, shoulder and upper back pain for 15 years now. I was injured playing football back then and was told it was just similar to whiplash when you are in a car accident. The pain has come and go over the last 15 years, until last weekend, when I attempted to lift the back of my 4wheeler ('98 Honda 300 4x4) to get to to where I could back it off the trailer. It started hurting then and come monday morning, my left arm is very weak and numb. Doctor has me on Lortab right now, but it is just taking the edge off the pain. I can't wait until they do the MRI so they can see what is wrong and do something about it. I've had other injuries in the past, but this has been by far the most miserable feeling. Good Luck and I hope you make a quick and full recovery.

Dude that sucks, that same thing happened to my best friends brother. They were pulling up in a boat to the sandbar and he (been drinking too) thought it be funny to dive in the water before they pulled in. Well he didn't realize how shallow it was and broke his neck. Unfortunately he wasn't as lucky as you were. He's been a quadrapledric for a few years now and he was only like 24, such a sad situation.
Glad to hear you didn't end up like that.
