Lower center of gravity is how that happened . Put a couple thousand pounds in the bed and then see what happens.

I used to go to truck pull offs where trucks would strap up to one another, the truck that always won was a Ford Expedition diesel 7.3 . It weighed so much it would pull dodge duallys around and almost every other truck around , plus it was low to the ground.

Yeah once he started hopping it was done. I just thought it was funny how excited they got over it.

If the guy in the truck knew how to win, he would have won.

Just like driving up a hill covered in ice. Once you slow down and start spinning out, you're probably gonna start sliding back down the hill.

I will never for the life of me understand hooking one truck up to another. 99% of the time it has nothing to do with who has the more power/tq, as we see here... Move them over in the grass and it'll be a different story. Stupid **** IMO

Did you mean an Excursion? Or was it a swapped Expedition?

Like said, the VW only won because the truck hopped and it was over after that.

You could hear the guy in the duramax say he's "pulling up to lock it in".

I've never had 4wd, so I'm not sure what it takes, but maybe it didn't engage?

If it was in 4wd, kind of strange that he fried the rear tires like that while the front was planted.
