I've never been a fan of V6's, let alone in trucks. The new Eco-Boost F150 is intriguing. Not sure I could/would buy one, but it is kinda nice to see brands trying to expand technology.

I do secretly like the new Ford F150's looks and all, but I love the sound of a V8 too, the Eco-Boost may not be for me but I bet they sell a **** load of them.

Regardless of who makes it, its a step in the right direction: making more power on less displacement. Because simple math will tell you that bumping up the displacement just makes for even more fun

I remember reading a year or two ago about GM working on something like the ecoboost, but I haven't looked into it since.

GM should have went on with the 4.5L duramax in half tons. This would help them keep up some if it were just affordable. I don't think the ecoboost f150 is going to be a big up charge so it looks pretty good to me.

ill take an n/a motor . this is ford we are speaking though we have n/a motors making much more than that already in our trucks . economy is a concern for most of us . now if they would do a turbo 4.8l v8 that could be effiecent and kick *** everywhere.
