Ever put headers on a 99+ F-body?
Well if you haven't it Fu@k!ng sucks!!
My hands are beat to hell and my freaking back is killing me!
This is the second F-body I've put LTs on and it sucks! Saturday I put headers on an '01 TA WS-6. Along with a catless 3" x-pipe with 2 Dynomax bullets. It took a total of 9 hours, with several breaks for beer of coures. I figured my buddy would be helping me with the install but he quickly turned into the tool bitch. Soon after he was fired from being the tool bitch since he didn't know what a combination wrench, cresent wrench, and ratcheting wrench were. I guess he's one of those guys that buys parts and expects them to install themselves... if I had a mechanically inclined helper it would have gone alot smoother and faster but I only have 2 hands. Luckily once the headers were ready to go in another buddy of mine showed up to give me a hand.

I never done headers but I've drop the engine out of one twice and installed it once. I'm about have a LQ9 ready to go back in it. It will have headers when installed. I've always been surprised how easy these cars are to work on.
BTW where they pacesetter's? I head they are a bitch to install.

Dude, I had EXACTLY the opposite experience with my 01 WS6. Doing it by myself, Pacesetter LT install took 6 hours, from the crack of the first beer to driving the car. I thought that pacesetters were supposed to be easy to install. Who knows. Leave it to GM to make HALF the F bodies hard to mod :wtf:
