The secret lies within.

Truth be told, I learned how to play some yrs. ago. Problem is, I took lessons for maybe 1 yr. Ended up setting it down to make money; job 1st.
Now I forgot everything (& it's not that much)...sorta. I wanna get into it & actually stay w/. it. I got some unfinished biz w/. my truck this summer.

Once I square away truck to its' next phase, I wanna start practicing guitar.

Thanks on kind words on LP.

Rest of the story...Not learning much, but an appreciation for the finer things has its' pros & cons. I only get U.S. made.

It takes me longer to pay up, & I know some are gonna say my Mex Strat or wherever sounds great. That's fine, they're entitled to that opinion. It's my belief quality U.S. made anything holds its value far better.

Lone Star Strat

My 50th Ann. U.S. Std.
It's just 1 color blue, not how it appears. I gotta learn how to use camera. It was a gift.

Gotta love how a Maple neck looks.

In my lifetime, I've found at least two things that we make in the U.S. that's better than anywhere else in the world....tools and musical instruments. I've used them all, and the American tools are always better...I've played the exact same P-Basses made in the good ole US, Mexico, and Japan, and there isn't even a comparison. The guitarist from my old band used to play a Les Paul like the one in your pic, through a Marshall, and it was the thickest sounding thing that I've ever heard....kinda like a cam with a LOT of overlap

That frickin Les Paul is heavy too...as is my P-Bass...that's how I like em myself

It gets better too.

My 60th Tele Ash Natural. Wait til u see this real wood inlay, it's (.)(.)
OK, I deleted the closeup, it didn't photo nice, but other pics kinda do it justice. Only kinda!

Back to Strats. This 1 is unique too, that's what I go for, unique & U.S.
Notice the matching headstock (pic 2). It's a Strat LE for ltd ed.

I got 1 more! It's my Baby!!! This is the last guitar I ever bought & I always wanted. The 1st is the LP Dbl Cutaway. In order I bought them basically, is how I presented the pics. I may've mixed the middle couple axes up, but it's irrelevent. I fancy myself a lover of Gibsons more than Fender, but couldn't resist. When I walk into a shop, it's usu. bad news for my wallet. I may get 1 more & that's the end of the collection. Any guesses on what?

w/o further ado, my Crown Jewel!!!

This top is incredible. How the lines are so even is beyond belief!

How's this for a flametop?

Hope everyone enjoys the pics. Why again do I have so little $$$?

So Billy, was it worth the wait? I told u, teaser pics.
