Have you shipped recently? They scan much more often then they have in the past. And I have had very accurate luck of it showing most every step from Postage printed to Delivery.

I think different areas have holes for the USPS tracking. I have had packages show up that showed in VA or WA till the moment they arrive, but overall recently they all show 2-3 stops and at my local post office the night before then our for delivery.

Price has always been best for me with USPS so the fairly minor holes in tracking have never bothered me.

I worked at UPS for 3 years and I can tell you event if every human that touches your package acts as if it is a baby's head that needs supported the belt system, and truck loading racks will make sure it falls at least 2-3 feet once or twice on it's trip. And not to mention not every human that touches your package is going to "handle with care!" But millions of packages make it to there destination without issue every day.

I prefer usps most of the time, but I use ups and FedEx for work a bunch. It's pretty much a coin flip for me.

And FedEx strikes again, they were supposed to deliver my new cam yesterday and it went from showing a delivery date to NA. WTF!

Now its showing its at the delivery destination city and will be delivered today, we shall see. I don't have high hopes. I wanted to put it in this weekend.

They all suck.... Our company spends some serious Jack on private couriers but everything always shows up on time (sometimes early) and in perfect shape. Never a problem. And they will bring it to where you are standing.... No chasing addresses. Not real practical but it works well.

On UPS or FedEx deliveries to my house I have to pay for early am delivery if I want it the same day lol... Pathetic.

Bingo. Fed ex and ups suck, but both beat usps by a mile in my area.

I prefer UPS, anytime I get something from fedex over the border I get nailed with MASSIVE duties. for example, on a mike norris catch can from scoggin dickey, I was charged $40 in duties by fedex.
