Default feds pay for e85 conversion?

so i just did my taxes the other day with turbotax and seen there is a deduction on there for converting your vehicle to alternate fuel source. e85 is on the list of fuels. they want to know what the vehicle is and what it cost you to convert. does this mean we can write off fuel pump, injectors, and tuning?! anyone else notice or do this?

Im sure it would be the best idea to get everything with receipts in case you get audited.

But, if they will pay for it, then its an awesome way to upgrade all those parts!!

Hmm bump for this... That sort of deduction doesn't fall under the standard deduction, does it?

I can see that. The Feds have their dip in the pricing of E85, so I wouldn't doubt that you could get it as a write off. I'm definitely in for results and what it takes to get it written off.
