honestly if you use coat hanger wire bent in a L shape you can find where it runs, Ive done it succesfully many times,

they have marked the lines..except for my water line..i have a 3foot t handle that ive been tryin to find the line but a foot and a half down is a bunch of gravel/rock..so its point less

no i mean with the L shaped coat hangers (2 seperate peices) works the same as a willow branch, but you hold them losely, and when you walk across a underground spring/water pipe they will one will turn left one wil turn right showing the direction of flow

the line shouldnt be more than 18" deep though between the house and the meter

i found it last night..i was 6 inches off from my first hole i dug, and it was 2ft down..i was lookin for 18inches
