Question Ford f150 with 351W ???? Rare truck?

I know that they slapped the 351's into the lightnings back when they came out in 93. However I have not seen any in a reg cab long bed truck. Was at a party last night, one of my buddies rolled up in one. It had 351 badges, popped the hood, had the lightning intake and all on it. It is a 93 truck aswell, seemed to have all the options a lightning would have but it is a long bed.. I just have never seen one. Could this be a kinda rare truck or did they regularly option them this was from the factory??

I would post in the ford section but it has little to no action

my 1st truck was an 83 f150 reg cab long bed 4x4 with a 351w. went and put the cobra emblems off the mustang on it i had 1 guy actually beleave it was a limited production cobra f150 lol. as for being a 93 id bet its a cloned. drive train wise its a direct transplant need the normial transplant parts, you can buy all the lightning trim parts also. i know lmctruck has a ton of stuff. never heard of a long bed factory lightning though. did he give you any insight on it other then popping the hood.

My 95 Bronco had a 351w in it. You could bolt the lightning intake manifold on for 20-30hp iirc. No, not very scarce and I think only had 10hp and maybe 20tq more than the 5.0 engine (going from memory, but it wasn't a big bump in power)

I found a long bed 351 XLT 150 on the dealer lot brand new in 94. Almost bought it but couldn't make a deal, never found one like it again.

The 351 Windsor was the common truck motor.

it was fairly common. I know for sure it was common in the Bronco's. I think the 302 is more common in most of the f150's, but it was certainly no less common than the 6.2 is today. Think of it as the 5.3 vs the 6.2.
