Default gallons into pounds........

So we have this calculator at work (aviation stuff) that converts gallons into pounds, for example: (this is for jet fuel)

1 gallon = 6.785 lbs
15 gallons = 101.775 lbs
20 gallons = 135.70 lbs
25 gallons = 169.625 lbs

maybe that'll help some of you guys when running at the track.

Good info, I wonder if aviation fuel is heavier due to its content.

not sure if it's based on if there's any additive present, although the octane ratings are pretty close to each other

For weight and balance when flying, I use 6lbs per gallon for 110LL.
Jet fuel is around 6.7lbs per gallon as C.C.O.D. posted

Weight will be different depending on the fuel. JP5, JP8 etc.
