Girlfriend got a new truck
99 RCSB. Kid that had it originally hit a coyote the story goes that ripped off the front end. Looks more like went head on into a wall though. It was rebuilt, with a 5.3 dropped in(originally a v6), the stock 60e, and 3.42s. Has TRQ Thruster 20s on it, dumped exhaust, billet grill, and a pioneer premium head unit.
Downsides are - peeling tint, door locks are VERY hard to move, dying battery, unbalanced wheels/tires (gets a violet shake around 70mph), gauge cluster lighting doesn't work, tahoe seats in it, dash it painted red, black, and tan, there's a gap between the hood and front fenders, the fender panels don't match up well with the doors, a few other odds and ends that need fixing up and the front end is a different color red than the rest of the body but hardly noticeable. Plus she drives around 60 or more miles a day so she's gunna be paying a lot for gas. (Lives in Tuttle, goes to school in Moore, and works in Norman)
She got it for 3800, but this is her FOURTH car in less than a year and a half. She has a 92 f-body that doesn't run, had a 97 f-body she didn't like, and a 98 truck she didn't like. So after 2 vehicles she's bought and sold, she's spent more than i did on my truck
All in all, not a bad truck, just needs some good TLC and some fixing, and she could have found better for the money had she looked a little harder.
