Default GM Historical car's

Anyone else see that GM is auctioning off some of their historical and valuable car's of the past? Saw this on comcast's page this morning. Pretty sad when they are resorting to this, when it's most likely going for the exec's bonus'es.....

i highly doubt all of the sales combined could match the ceo's X-mass bonus check.
just think of as this, with every car sale 10 janitors get to keep mopping the floors for another year.

GM claims the sale has nothing to do with their current financial problems. They're just making room for more vehicles in the collection which is something they do occasionally. At least the new owners will be people who actually want these vehicles and the vehicles might lead even more pampered lives.

The Barrett-Jackson website is here. It's not real user friendly but there are descriptions and photos of most of the vehicles in the auction.
