Default Good idea, or setting myself up for trouble?

So I had someone offer to trade me 3 trucks for my 73 Monte Carlo, the trucks are a 64,65, and 66 C10, the 64 is a short wide fleet side thats fairly clean, the 65 is a long bed with a fresh 283 in it but a good bit of rust, and the 66 is a roller missing front fenders. The guy says he has a ton of spare parts for all three trucks. I've always liked this body style, and it seems like a pretty good deal, but figured I would get a few more opinions before pulling the trigger.

I love those bodystyle trucks,my dad has 4 67-72 Chevys and the old trucks are desirable espically the swb fleetsides. It all depends on how attached you are to the monte carlo and if the trucks are worth what the car is.

I would do it just depends on how many parts the guy has and how good of shape all 3 trucks are, plus if your attached well to the monte carlo then I would pass but 3 projects would be fun plus havn a beater truck would be nice as well

I'm a bit attached to the car, it being my first car and all, but I have always loved this body style truck. Also he has cab corners and patch panels, glass, and all kinds of other parts for all three. The real thing Im excited about though is the bag kit for the 64, complete and uninstalled, just needs a compressor. Would love an LS powered bagged street truck to tear around in...

I'll be checking them out Saturday, if they look as good in person, hopefully driving them back home.

Thanks man! It will prolly take a few years to get them done how I would like, but hey, always good to have a project. I'll start posting pics as I get work done on them.
