Me and my friend josh went out shooting and it was cold as ****, He decides to shoot this concrate piller with his 270 im standing about 10 feet to the right of him and he shoots it and somthing hits me in the head hard. almost knocked me down and im bleeding from the side of my head and we find the bullet in my jacket hood, thats one hell of a ricasha.

no i dont think i was that bad it more of glazed off me and that was yesturday and im still alive and no pain.

How far from the shooter was the target? I have seen ricochet in excess of 100 yards but not enough force in them to draw blood. Obviously you know now that what your friend was doing wasn't too bright. We have enough stupid laws in this state, please don't give them reason to make more

Your lucky it didn't hit a couple inches to the right or you'd be blind and in a hospital for a different reason! Use some safety glasses if your shooting at an object that's harder than a bullet.

ah, I've been to a range before and had a ricochet that hit a friend, but it didn't draw blood and I was only shooting my 9mm. Surprised us for an indoor range, but I guess it happens, didn't return to that range until they redid the traps.
