On 95 North(outer loop of the beltway) at Eisenhower Avenue where the speed limit drops to 50mph because of the work zone a few miles up. I was heading towards the Woodrow Wilson bridge and only had a few more miles before I was home free.
The guy must've been beside the tractor trailor I passed which was the only other vehicle around me at the time. I think when I passed he came around the tractor trailor and got behind me. There was like a mile of open road ahead and I was just cruising along not paying any attention. I happened to look back in my rearview and see an Impala with some big antennas on it and was like . At that point it was too late, he paced me at 75mph which was right. I'm just glad I wasn't going faster than that seeing as how there was no traffic.
BTW, thanks for the y-pipe. I DID put it on and it's working out great.

good to hear about the pipe.
Glad I didn't see any cops tonight on the way home. Made it home in 45 minutes, which I think is my new record. Nothing slowed me down on the way home. It's weird, though, I hammered home around 80-85mph, but when you average out the distance over time it's only 60mph and sounds really depressing.
Edit - well, I guess when you do bad math it is depressing. It should be: average of 72mph = 54miles/.75hr - stupid me used 54min. (which is incorrect) to get my .9hr - duh!

Haha...that is pretty damn good for 95.
My best ever was the 47mile trip to work in 34 minutes. It was at 5am though and there weren't many other cars on the road, no cops either thank goodness.
