Default ? for guys with fire extinguishers

I just bought one because I think I have enough of my own wiring in this truck that I might need it someday

But now my problem is, where do I mount it? I've got an extended cab truck with captains chairs up front with the full center console, and I usually have an underseat sub box in the back.

Any pics of where you mounted yours, or suggestions? I don't want it somewhere where it is sticking out, but I don't want to have to remove things to get to it, just in case there is an emergency.

Good question. Waiting for answers. I'm in the same boat.

You don't have a tonneau cover do you? I mounted mine between the front of the bed and the passenger fenderwell under my tonneau. You may also consider putting it under your seat if you don't have power seats.

No tonneau, and yes power seats.

I was moving the bottle around in the truck earlier and there really doesn't seem to be any good spots to mount that thing

Maybe behind the rear seat next to the jack and stuff? Not super accessible, but not bad.

I kinda already tried there. It didn't fit when the seat was down, I might lift it up and see if it fits under there and if it will close with it down there.

i got a small one for a personal water craft. it sits angled in my center console.

i think one of my buddies had his mounted to the passenger side of the center console. out of the drivers way and not really in the way of the passenger, and really easy to get to.
