Default Help Me find some INFO on this!

I bought a 95 Geo Tracker for a gas saver/hunting vehicle. The head gasket is blown, mechanic looked at it and diagnosed the same thing. It is a 1.6L 16valve 4 cylinder. I ordered an entire top end gasket kit. waiting on UPS to bring it. Im thinkin with some time and patieance i can do it myslef...but not sure. Ive been searching online for a DIY article or something but with no luck YET. Anyone seen one anywhere? Or done it yourself? Or wanna come drink a cold one and help me???? Hahaha. But really....any help? Thanks

As long as you you have the head bolt sequence and torque specs the rest should be text book. I'm assuming that's a timing belt engine? Be sure to have the belt set up correctly before you fire it up...probably just taking so long because it's your first one. I can't even remember the last time I saw a Geo Tracker on the road lol.

Replace the timing belt and water pump while you have it apart. Don't give up!
