How Do I Get Out Of Jury Duty

Or claim you can't speak English. They let a guy out of jury duty when I was there for that. He'd lived in the USA for 20+ years but couldn't comprehend English. He sure understood "you can go" pretty well.

Although the only time I got called to Jury duty I was there 15 mins and got my name called for grand jury. yeah 16 people out of 300+ there. There was no real way out of that. It wasn't bad. I had to do 2 weeks about 6 weeks apart. The grand jury had to decide whether to indict (or howerver you spell it) felony charges or not. Kind of interesting actually. The grand jury had to tour the county jail and determine it's "standards"....that was interesting. Some lonely drug addict looking chick with hair flying everywhere giving looks of desperation for companionship.
Entertaining none the less. It wasn't bad for me since my work paid me my normal wage for doing it.
