I just picked one up, must say not being a fan of apple this thing is def a handy little thing to have.. I think I have used my laptop 3 times since I got this..

I have an iPhone, and use it whenever I'm not at home on my pc, and it's pretty handy, but I dont really see how an iPad would be much more useful than an iPhone, being as unwieldy as it is

apple has awesome products and good customer service... can't beat the warranty either, but every few months it seems something bigger and better comes along.. but thats how technology works

X2. I have the iPhone 4 a 27" iMac and iPad. Basically an iFamily.
I use mine all the time but I travel 95% of the year so it becomes very handy.
Like he said apple has great products. Go to apple.com and watch the videos of all the upcoming technology they have coming out. They are truly revolutionizing the industry not only hardware wise but also software.

They do a lot, but they are not really a PC.. Browsing and all is a little different. Also they do not support adobe/ flash player stuff( heard they are working on that) And I am sure you know they are also alot smaller then a PC.. But i must say still handy as a ****.. If she is doing alot of business type/networking I would go with a windows based set up, as MAC/Apple are more of a personal, not networking type set up.. None the less the pad is like a big freaking cell phone, other then being able to talk on it like a cell you can make calls to other people with them( ipads). You get all the apps you can get on a smart phone, more.. So all in all, for not being big into apple, they hit a home run on this pig..
