Default I just can't stay away

So I sold my Sierra and my Denali a few months ago. I've flipped (bought and sold) a few cars/suv's since then. I replaced the Wife's Denali with a GS300 and settled on a 1997 Mitsubishi 3000GT SL for myself. Well I had to bring my son to school the other day in the 3000GT...I'm 6' tall and he is 4 years old, my knees were in the dash and his were in the back of my seat. Time to go back to a full size.

I came across a BA deal at the local Navy base.

2005 Chevy Tahoe LT 4wd (45K miles Carfax confirmed)
Dark Blue Metallic paint
Loaded (to include factory DVD system)
5.3L
Autoride
22" wheels

Can you guess the price? Kbb lists it at $21,000

Seller wants $14,500!

Unfortunately we can only bring one vehicle with us when we leave the island...Looks like the Lexus will be staying on island!

If everything goes well, I should be picking up the Tahoe Monday morning.

I already have a few mods in mind.

I can't stay away from GM vehicles.

Plans are GEARS! I found out it has 3.42's
Luckily my 4.11's didnt sell, so I emailed the Ebay seller for another set.

What was Chevy thinking, putting 3.42's in a 4WD Tahoe? 4.11's should move that pig quite well.

Did you check the RPO code? I thought 3.73 was the norm and sometimes 4.11. Never heard of a Tahoe with 3.42. Maybe it was for highway mpg, which is of no use on a 12 mile long island
