Hi gang,

I have a mint condition (used) passport 8500 radar detector along with a brand new in the box passport laser jammer.
( http://www.autoanything.com/product...3_laser_shifter ) , I'm a big wuss when it comes to cutting into my factory wiring and along with that, laser jammers are now illegal in Minnesota. I want to trade someone or have someone buy me a new Valentine 1 radar detector and I will give you the detector&jammer kit. The jammer hooks up to the 8500 passport so all the controls can be run through the same unit. The jammer alone I paid $500 for and the detector was $325. Anyone interested? PM me if so.

LOL...want and need are two different things. I have an 8500 and I love it, my dad has an older Passport and got nailed on a recent road trip, never got a single beep out of the detector. I had passed the same cop about 1/2 mile ahead of dad and my 8500 was lit up full. He wants a new one, so this would be for him. I have had my 8500 for 2 years and have yet to be lasered in Phoenix, so I doubt the jammer would do me much good....plus I have no $$ either.
