I'm PISSED! Good for nothing military so called doctors.
Just over 2 months ago i tore or broke something in my sholder, and its just gotten worse. When i did it i went to the Navy hospital and they said i must have pulled something, maybe. The next 2 times i went, including this morning, they say i just need to rest it and take some aleve. Well I've eaten Aleve, Max strenght tylonal, and Motrin like candy for 2 months and it still hurts. I am alot weaker in that arm now and only have half the range of motion. I can't even scratch my back or *** with that arm.
It freakin hurts all the time, especialy if i try to use it. When i do go to use it i feel alot more pain, kinda like a burning sensation. WTF is up with these so called docs!
I'm no doctor, but if someone comes in saying they were lifting something and heard a loud snap, and now they can hardly use that arm I think i would at least ex-ray the damn thing. I even requested an ex-ray and was told there is no need.
When i rotate my damn arm it clicks and pops, and hurts like hell. I may just suck it up and pay out of my own pocket to go see a REAL doctor out in town. And if its something serious like a torn ligiment or broken something, i am going to go back and punch this fake *** doc right in the mouth.
Sorry for the rant, i just had to get that out. Anyone else who is or has been military knows what I'm talking about.

I was in the army a little while. You should see a real doctor. Take some leave go on a trip a see a doc out of town that way you'll get your money back because a military doc was not availible at that time Hope yer OK.

it was the same thing with my Knee while i was in the Navy. After the 5 mile runs we would do my knee would swell up and looked like a horse leg. They never seemed to find anything wrong with it. Same thing, aleve and motrin for pain. All this after i have had knee surgery by the navy. of course, our battalion doc was a obgyn so i am pretty sure he don't know much about knees.

I just got done with shoulder surgery 3 days ago. When i was in the navy i seperated my shoulder pritty bad and its been messed up for 6 years now. I did it body boarding of all things. at the time the doctors wanted to put a pin in it but i had heard the horror stories so i said like hell your gonna cut me open. I used to be into competitive bodybuilding so now after years of alot of lifting and abuse i had reinjured it finally i said screw it i cant rehabilitate it and im gonna get it fixed. Doctor said im gonna have arthritis now ive worn away alot of the cartilage and he said there was alot just floating around due to me reinjuring it alot and lifting heavy on it he had to remove it.
So whats the moral of the story, if I could go back in time I would have let them operate on it right after I injured it once those tendons are torn and the rotator cuff is messed up you cannot fix it!!!!!! ever it cant be rehabilitated back to the way it was!!!! Oh and by the way I was benching 420 regularly with that shoulder to I had it start slipping once and it came out on me doing military presses but what did my dumbass do just shrug it off and keep going. Hopefully I can start lifting again a couple months from now.
If youve lost range of motion thats not good i dont know if your really active like me but i would get that **** fixed asap its an out patient procedure to get it scoped but you have to have your arm in sling for 6 weeks.
thats just my story with shoulders now who wants to talk about knee injuries

I'd personally go to another Doctor, now that they've been giving you the run around for the past few months and it's gotten worse. they're gonna look like idiots if they say oh **** it might be bad. You're gonna get a more honest answer somewhere else.
