I did get the 5 on the day of release. If you upgrade to any new phone through your provider, it will change your contract to the new plans(atleast for verizon). I have had this line for over 6 years, so far I am grandfathered in. I didn't get my phone via my cell provider, so I was able to sneak in using a personal rep I was put in touch with.. I have however heard regardless everyone will be pushed out of unlimited data eventually. Since this phone uses LTE it will burn through data, at a fast rate for sure.

I have never understood face time. What is the point unless your far from home and want to see your wife or parents or something. face timing friends is kinda lame imo. But again just mu op. If the iphone never offered it, it wouldn't bother me.

I don't really use face time either. I used it to talk to my sisters while they were in Italy. I thought that was pretty bad ***. And my ex used to call me every F'ing night crying when I moved a couple hours away from her. Needless to say, that didn't last very long.

I'm also grandfathered in for unlimited. But I doubt that I ever even use 2 mb, and the plan allows up to 3 mb if I'm not mistaken. And I've never used FaceTime in the year and a half I've had this phone.
If this phone dies, I'll probably get a 5. Til then, this ones doing just fine for me.

Dont ever really post about phones, but I have read that the Iphone 5 doesnt allow video sharing capabilities. Is this true? Having a younger daughter who is constantly growing allows me to share this with others. Currently have the 3gs, and really wanting the Iphone 4S White 16gb. But will more than likely go to an AT&T store to get it all done, so they can transfer contacts or files needed. And hopefully the buy back my 3gs like the did my wifes phone last year at this time. I have had phone for about 2 years now, and still have no clue about ITunes, sucks because old phone Blackjack2 had a ton of songs and ringtones. Just wondering everyones opinion on this. As I dont want to be sucked into all the hype, but have real world experiences.
