I honestly think a lot of it is a good platform, the apple stuff, but some of it just seems a bit redic to me. Everytime I start to try one I am turned around by crap I was told to by a friend. I think I get a new phone in november, maybe I will try one out.

It came out about a year ago, but funny thing is is would have had to come out almost 3 years ago to be close to current standards. The I-phone is such a status symbol joke. I haven't payed much attention to the 5 but it can't do anything special that can't be done with most any droid. The screen is finally of decent size but still noticeably smaller then all but the very low end phones.
It is fragile as a diarrhea turd in a new high powered toilet and any accessories can't cost less then a months payment on an average size car. I know someone with a razr that is bent, screen cracked and it has been working flawlessly for 6 months like that. Good luck getting your iphone to work flawlessly if you get a particle of dust in the speaker hole.
You guys do what you want but for my money the phone of topic has nothing to offer above and beyond what most droids from a year ago did and falls short is plenty of areas too.
To give it some credit and not let this be 100% bashing truth, the screen is crisp and what it does it does flawlessly. But so does plenty of other phones so that doesn't put it in a league of it's own.
