Just signed up for Bondurant
A few friends went years ago and said it was worth every penny and was the most fun they have ever had in a car, so since then, it has been on my bucket list. Well the day finally came that I signed up for it. I went with the 4 day Grand Prix Road Racing course. And with my corvetteforum.com 15% discount and picking up $3000 in gift certificates for $1000 on ebay, I'm going for about half price
I'm planning on borrowing or buying a GoPro and will post up videos. Going at the end of October, so I need to hone my (barely existent) manual driving skills before then
For the first three days, I get to drive one of these:
Then the last day, this guy
I usually don't splurge like this (other than for superchargers, cams, headers, etc. haha), but my friends have said it has made them much better and safer drivers, even in non-sports cars. I know I have had some butt-puckering moments in my Tahoe that I have been lucky with when the back end kicked out, and I think if the course can keep me out of one accident over the course of my life, it will have paid for itself.
