dont get me wrong, i planned on blowing it up this season...my plans just included a track and a heavy dose of crack...not in my dads driveway N/A doing something ive done 10,000 times before.

I say 383 just because there aren't many as there is 402s and 408s etc

Bigger the bore the better IMO, better head choices, less valve shrouding. Find you a 6.2 block and just throw some forged rods/pistons in it and spin it to the moon.

ill probably just end up with a low mileage 6.0 or fresh 370. im really not interested in dumping too much more money into this pit. for some reason its in the back of my mind that for some dumb *** reason im guna switch to a lq9 and make less power which makes no sense. im still crossing my fingers that the heads/cam and pushrods arent damaged.
