I agree on the older women being alot more chill but you know what...some of these teenage girls are just too damn hard to resist!!

Looks like a keeper Chris! Don't let this one slip away! Nice project btw!! It's gonna look good when it's all done!

Hell, you kitchen is(was) roomy compared to mine. Mine is set up exactly like yours, but when I open the dishwasher, its about a foot from the oven. Lol. I had to get a side by side fridge cause a the doors on a regular top/bottom onestuck out too far when you open them. In a few years I'm gonna demo a wall and open it up like you are doing. Looks like you have your work cut out for you

Laundry room is all framed out. I'm getting pretty excited! Electrical and plumbing going in in the morning, and hanging sheetrock tomorrow too if all goes well.

Tell me about it! I actually don't feel guilty spending money on my house. Well, I never really did with the truck either but I knew I would never get that back. Someday I think I'll get the money for this back out of the house if I ever sell.

Sheetrock is all hung! Got drywallers/painters coming tomorrow to start taping/mudding/texturing/painting, should be all done by Sunday at the latest, ready for the cabinets when they show up next week

Recessed lighting in the kitchen, and the two blue things are for pendant lights over the island

The laundry room is HUGE! I thought it was going to be big but once it's all walled it it feels even bigger than I thought! Pretty proud of myself too, I did 100% of the sheetrock in this room while my buddy worked on electrical yesterday. He finished the rest of the sheetrock today while I was at work.

It's coming together nicely...hopefully I won't run out of money before it's finished!
