I used Krylon Fusion to paint my front lower air dam. I gave it one good coat on one day and repeated the next day. I've had it on my truck for about 3 months now and I'm very impressed. NO indication of chipping, flaking, wearing off, or discoloring. I would recommend this for anyone who wants a quick and easy way to paint plastic.

I used it to paint my Bowtie black a few months ago and no chipping yet. I've gone through the worst part of winter too, some pressure washes as well!!
Good **** so far.

Yep. I used it on a center console almost 2 yrs ago, and it's held up great.

You didn't have to prep at all? Just sprayed it?

I scrubbed my Bowtie down with a scotchbrite pad and some dawn dish soap and rinsed it off in hot water, wiped it down and let it dry on the heat register wher it was warm.
You may need some adhesion promoter for bigger parts though.

Didn't prep it, just gave it a good wash and let it completely dry. I didn't even use adhesion promoter. It actually says "no prep work necessary" on the can. The paint and texture looks very similar to the front bumper cap.

The valance lookes great and the grill looks ok too, but on the chrome parts of the grill i didnt do any prep and it chips, so I respray it every couple months.
