looking at the Amazon links it looks like the cheaper one is only listed by part #.....damn good score.

You get what you pay for. A good quality life will last lifetimes.

Kershaws are really good knives, had two stolen from me at work lol, I like spyderco too. No joke they're seriously sharp!

spydercos are the most overrated pieces of junk ever. ive broken 3, ugly as hell, cant use the stupid thumbhole design... i can go on for hours about why they are junk.

That's funny because I spent multiple hours yesterday researching knives before I spent $80 on that Kershaw and read multiple times that spiderco makes some of the best production knives on the market. Along with Kershaw and Benchmade.

I'm not a big fan of Spyderco either, I rate them with CRKT. I think Benchmade is probably the finest production blade available. Kershaw the best for the common man.

I've had/seen some very durable CRKT knives, I've been a fan of their stuff for awhile. Also liked some Gerber knives, but have read a lot of bad reviews on their stuff.

But nothing beats a made in USA knife
