Congrats on making it this far in the military, and congtrats on getting out alive.
Now is not a good time to be in the service, my bro has been in the army for 18+ years and most have been stationed in the middle east.
I can't wait til he gets out and gets back to his family and ours.
He is a changed man from all the crap he has seen and been through.
Some not for the better.

Good luck in the private sector of employment!!

I second that motion Gripster!

What will you be doing as far as a career? My aunt is a captain in the Army and she is stationed in Korea but she was in Japan for 2 years prior to that. She loved the hell out of it. She is in the Veterinary Corps or whatever they call it.

I feel ya Grippy. I'll be 1 month shy of 11 years as a Fire Controlman when my Obliserv is up and I'm pretty sure I'll be getting out. I'm already looking at jobs. The Navy has changed since I was last on sea duty. Now they are trying to do away with shore duty for us. I wouldn't mind being sent to Japan. Everyone that I know who has been stationed there loved it. But you think there's a lot of ricers around Ca, it'll be terrible there. That and a truck would be a pain in the **** to drive there.
