Tech is full of heads.. There are a decent bit over there that are cool, will give info, to help out, know what their talking about.. Most imo are idiots.. The classified section is kickass though.. Without a doubt we do alot more of are own wrenching, fabbing, mods then alot over there...

I noticed this on camaro5 the other day! " just got my car back from the dealer" Getting my new headlights installed next week at the garage" blah blah blah etc, seems less and less people work on there cars nowadays, only thing I havent done myself on my truck is the tranny, and rear end ( would of done the rear end but i was in school when it went and couldnt afford to mess it up if i did it myself)

You have to keep in mind some peoples time is worth alot of money. Their free time is valuable and they would much rather pay someone to do the work for them. Alot of people don't have the know how either. Some people don't like working on their rides either. When I first started modding the truck I knew very little as far as hands on experience. Luckily I met someone right down the street that had tons of experience.

Same here! I thought I knew alot about trucks but was I wrong! I bought a 1990 chev 1500 6.2 n/a diesel and i thought it was the ****! any of guys remember that? back in 07 I beleive? Brown one? anyways doesnt matter, I didnt know how to repack a wheel bearing back then, I even needed help changing a tail pipe! Now I got tranny swaps, engine swaps, cams, heads, etc under my belt! If you can read you can wrench. But I agree some people have families they would rather spend time with or simply work to much

Make it a family affair! Little kids are great for holding tools!
