More grown up talk :(
Whats up guys? Well I need some grown knowledge here, Im 26years old so need some straight up advise on the "MARRIAGE" thing is there a right age for it? I had a GF my age which i normally dont date i always shoot for girls or ladys hitting the low 30s more easy to get along with IMO, but it was a 1.75 year thing with this last GF (ended 2weeks ago) and she wanted to get married and I told her ok lets see how this goes first like as in lets give it more time to marinate it and she flips out why? She said why wait why can't i commit to this which i did but i dont feel its the right time like im too young or am I wrong? The way I feel is like i need to build a foundation first as in financially my life style is OK i cant complain but I want to be a lil better than i am now so if I take that step I can at least buy her a House for us and if i bring a lil man or girl into this world type stuff, I dont want to be like some of my family members that get married but cant make it on their own so they move in their parents and so called stay a few weeks that turns into years I dont want baby momma drama I dont want to struggle and its crazy how my aunts and uncles keep pushing me about it my folks just tell me take ur time son and being Mexican is a common thing getting married or having kids at a real young age which i chose not to. so am i wrong? am i making this more of a bigger deal than it is?

To be honest, its never thd "right" time to get married. As a man you will always want to be "more comfortable." the trick is to find a woman who is willing to stick it out through the great and rough times. The keepers are the ones who help pull you through those rough patches as a partner as you should be willing to do the same for them. If it feels like a chore to help her, it wont work. The same goes the other way around.

^^ this. I started to write something similar.. but have had a few tequila mixed drinks tonight and couldn't put my thoughts into a complete paragraph LOL
There is no right age or time. You will know when you meet the right girl and the time is right.

All this is true talk. Don't rush anything. We only go through life 1 time, and in my mind the less mistakes the better. Marriage in my eyes is nothing more then a piece of paper. All of my friends that were married in there early- mid 20's are divorced, back at it again. I was in the same boat some years back, with a chick for a long time, she was wanting to get more and more serious, I was not ready to make that next step. She flipped out and ultimately we ended our ties. Yes it sucked, but I do not regret it. Stay single, mingle as long as you can, hang out with your friends. You have no one to answer to. Hell I might not ever get hitched. I am 30, still in no hurry. I do what I want when I want Just my op though. Best of luck.

Me and my gf have mentioned it a few times...she wants to something fierce, but I tell her I will when I can afford it (im finishing school), but the more I think about it, the more I want to wait. Im 23 and shes 21. Way too young still IMO.

**** I'm 39. Not Mexican though...
I've had my mom, sisters, aunt, cousins, brother, girlfriend's sister, GF's brother-in-law, gf's stepdad.... you name it, all ask "so, when ya guys getting married?"
My answer... when I'm ******* ready. If she continues to hold out with me then it will be time soon.
