I think the entire thing is stupid. They need to work on quality and efficiency, not marketing. That's why the big 3 are doing so poorly, they don't know how to prioritize.

I like it - I don't see the problem. I may not like Dodge trucks, but from an advertising point of view it works. It's original. It's better than some fat wife beating country singer (toby keith) singing about Ford trucks or some has been NFL football player (Howie Long) driving around in a GM truck.

Yeah i dont think any truck ads are that great but the whole "soul and passion " stuff is just so retarded to me.

was that poetry? if that's what it was, it didn't belong on a truck commercial.

on the contrary, Ford is doing rather well. I bought some Ford stock at the beginning of the year for like $1.20 or something, it closed yesterday at $8.18! that's the highest I've seen it since the market fell apart. I wish I had invested more into it

Yeah but the Howie Long commercial with the "Man Step" is priceless. He does add some comedic relief. Besides, I like looking at him. I'd rather watch a good looking, in shape, professional male than a coward for a commercial.

i heard only reason ford is doing so good is they took a big loan right before the market went to hell. or they would be hurting just like the other two.
