rent a truck with a tommy lift . . . . or find a buddy with a Miller Lite truck with a fork lift on the back and borrow it for 15 minutes.

oh well ****, back to the tie to something and floor idea then. I think the tailgate will handle it fine as long as it tilts off and the edge only catches the weight. Go rent a flat dolly furniture dolly.

in that case i say lay a few straps under it when you load it. back it into the garage and hook onto it with the cherry picker. drive out from under it and then let it down. Perhaps use the cherry picker and a dolly both to move it where you want it without it getting all banged up.

If you plan on your taigate supporting any substantial weight I must ask if you have had the cable recall performed yet? May sound kinda like a dumb question but you don't really want to take the chance if you still got the old style cables on the tailgate. I go with a flatbed wrecker or something similar myself.

What do you mean? My truck is a regular 1500 with the tow package, Ive had polaris 800 in the bed(800#s) and a trailer with 350ish #s of tongue weight and it was fine.

Yes I have the new galvanized cables.

I got ahold of another place that said they would haul it for 200 and another 75 to install the anchor bolts into the concrete. Im thinking it will probably be worth it.
