Our country had a fallen soldier come home this week. His name is Staff Sergeant Jason Rodgers from Brandon, Mississippi. His family was joined by hundreds of people to observe him coming home for the last time. Hundreds more lined the route to the funeral home. His funeral service will be Saturday afternoon at 3:00 at Pine Lake Baptist Church in Brandon, Ms.

Now the other part of this story is about a group of people that I no words to describe. They are the West Boro Baptist Church. They make my blood boil. They are planning to attend his funeral service also to make a mockery of this young mans life. If there are any members that live close to Brandon, Ms can you please take a hour out of your Saturday to show this young mans family there are people who support our military.

 

I would make the trip if i could, however I can not as I am in Afghanisan as we speak. My prayers are with you and his family - physical and military.

 

I do not know this hero. I have never heard his name until today, when I was reading my local paper on line. My prayers are with the family also.

Ya, those ******* came to Canada to protest the funeral of the carnie who died on a Greyhound bus when a guy lost his marbles and decided to decapitate a complete stranger. Nothing like a bunch of rednecks holding God Hates You signs outside the funeral of a loved one... You're a good man for spreading awareness on this. I'd be there if I could.

Im deployed right now myself.....so i cant give those people a pice of my mind but that pisses me off so much. To think of that mans family having to witness protestors at the funeral off a fallen soldier. sad....
