Default Need some help with GoPro.

Anybody that has a GoPro can chime in. looking for some tips and pointers. I have a great vid on mine now and cant get it unloaded or converted. What software are you using? Is it good for beginners? Right now I'd love to see the raw footage on my GoPro but cant watch it even on my laptop. Help!

You need a good video card in your laptop, just plug it in to your usb port like your gonna charge it. i just pkug mine into my ps3 and use it like an external hard drive. you can also use an sd in the side of the camera. just put it in your laptop.

Well, i've played with the settings of the camera. At 720-30 FPS i can get a short video (usually 1 minute or less) to load into cineform and work properly. Anything else will not even import into the software. Forget about changing the settings, thats an entire different frustration in itself.

are you using windows or mac? do you have the user manual, read it!!

720p is a good setting to keep it on. Can shoot longer video lenth and most of the time people just upload them to youtube and 720p is plenty of quality.

The internal storage is very small. Use an sd card and download quick time player. But its still not gonna play if your video card is small or slow.

I use VLC media player, Windows movie maker, and Power Director Video editing software. Power director can upload the edited video strait to youtube.
