My ktm 525 exc produced about 80hp and that's 525cc 4 stroke. Either way technology is amazing to see where we will be in 10-20 years. Figure the old chevy 350 was the work horse every body turned to for 300 hp and now we have 3.6 L six bangers making that with all the emission crap. It's a great time to be alive if your a motor head like just about all of us on here!!!

My 800cc skidoo was 150hp stock, and more with simple mods.
The thing about 2 cycle engines is that they make hp with high rpm. MPG's is usually not good with a 2 cycle. The EPA doesn't like them, and that's why most of the manufacturers of boats, outboards, ATV's, and snowmachine manufacturers are switching over to 4 cycle engines.
