Holy crap it sounded just like a air plane in the first part of the video. This really sucks man but mybe you can get it back together its gunna be a beast when fixed... it happenes alot with built engines though

GM. it was a stock bottom end 15,000 mile Lq9 from an escalade. ls7 lifters and a nice cam and top end to it. with all of the good stuff around it.

LMAO yeah that video was taken in front of my parents house...about 4 miles from IAH. it was an airplane

pull it out and see what messed up... i doubt a 15k mile stock engine spun a bearing in the bottom end but i guess anythings possible

Maybe its just a cam bearing stew.....since those are the only bearings you touch with the cam swap. Youd be able to swap those with the motor still in the truck

note the big chunk of bearing stuck to my magnet and the 5 mile old oil that is BLACK. in the light you can see golden swirls in it.

I also started the engine without the passenger valve cover on and the front intake rocker is getting zero oil.

no plans as of yet. im guna wash it up, put it in the garage and play with the 4 wheelers all summer.
