I agree totally. That is why i've almost quit working OT. It will consume your life and affect your family more than you would think.

my wall guys came back and fixed up the wall. grass is coming up nice except where the wall guys trampeled it.

and what is this? part of a floor

woohoo, going to start moving some stuff in next week. might be able to get the other part of the floor done later this year and the drive will have to wait till spring.

there will be a lift on the big side. debating on spending the big bucks on a 2 post inground or a cheaper above ground.

Looks great Jim! I would just do a 2 post above ground, but I think you've talked about the one with the cables that go across the floor, I would HIGHLY recommend against that and get the one with the cables across the top if you can fit it at all. You will hate having the bump on the floor with anything you try to roll over it with small casters.

Where are the stairs to get up to the store room and the man room? Man I hope you don't store any engine blocks or trannies up there...ouch to whomever has to haul that gear up and down!

no stairs yet. wont be any till after it gets inspected. i am going to have to cut into a truss to get the stairs in and they wouldn't be happy with that if they saw it.

Very nice Jim! I love seeing this kind of stuff. Thanks for the update. Is that your 3-Series? I remember you talking about getting a newer one.

it is a 97 528. the body is a little rough but the inside sure is nice. it is smooth and quiet and kinda quick. 27mpg on the highway. i put 17,000 miles on it in 9 months so far. got it for $5400. hate to say it but it makes my truck feel like a complete pos. wind, rattles, rough suspension....
