Another Marine in Afghanaland was tinkering with POS broke down Gator 4x4, he said he was gonna shave the cam lobes down so the valves would open more.... I just gave my usual **** eatin grin and told him he was gonna have the fastest Gator on Camp Leatherneck.

You can actually grind a cam for lift. You can have the closed portion(the base circle) ground down. I don't think people suggest it because it can get into the softer portion of the cam. Not sure if that's what he meant. I wouldn't even be surprised if a gator was a 2 stroke. Lol
