Have you checked for any tsb's on it? My '07 Tahoe had hard starting one morning, and I just decided to replace it so I didn't get stranded on an upcoming trip. I got over 90,000 miles on the stock battery, so I put in another ACdelco. I figure $110 every 90,000 miles isn't so bad.

I later found out there is a tsb for an elecrical load causing the battery to drain that happends randomly. I think it was the radio staying on or something like that. You probably could have just charged it and it would have been fine until it drained again. If this is happening, then your new battery could have the same problem.

My stock battery lasted over 6 years. I replaced it with another delco, picked it up for like 85 buks with my core.. IMO Deka is one of the best. I do not care if it is made by the same people who make a majority of delco through everstart..

i've got one of the O'reillys batteries in my truck that is about 6 months old that i have to constantly tighten the connections on, other than that I haven't had any problems.
