Default Picked up a new LSx Powerplant today

Went out "junkyarding" today. Main plan was to grab a overhead console piece with Scott for his gauges and browse through the vehicles for some goodies. While looking, we found a mostly complete LM7 5.3 sitting in an extended cab in an area where the put the latest inventory.
Just curious to what they would charge, I gave them a call. Guy on the phone says, "$86 if you pull it" "$250 if the yard pulls it with accessories"

So I decide to take it with accessories and got them to $200 missing the alternator.

(Engine cover is dirty because it was laying in the dirt)

I only took two pics because I figured you guys know what it looks like.

Plans right now are clean it up real nice (plenty of cleaner, paint). If I dont find a project truck to put it in, I will put it in my sig truck.

Plans for engine swap would be most likely LS6 intake, maybe mill the heads, 224/224. Along with that is all the swap equipment(longtubes, intake, tune, e. fans)

One side was missing coils, Scott has an extra set in his garage. Its an 01'. I've never seen a motor that was in a wrecked vehicle that sat at an insurance lot, then a junkyard that wasnt dirty lol
