Default picked up the wifes new truck

well after looking for a while we got a pretty good deal on this 04 4runner sport, 4.0 v6 4x4 with 78k on it







cant get much easier than that for the filter location

she couldnt get used to the width of a tahoe and Im not a huge fan of trailblazers or explorers, so the lift kit comes next

lol we need to send GM that picture of the oil filter with a note included that states that's the correct way and send em a picture of the duramax fuel filter that says in big letters Epic Fail!!!

thatis the water sensor in the bottom of the filter it has to to be swapped out to the new filter when changed and if you rip the wires out the bottom of it its $100 for a new one and the only way you can get your hand in there to change the filter is to take the right front tire off and wheel weel off


thats looking down from the top you can't fit your hand down the front and can't reach the plug for the water sensor.... oh yeah did i forget to mention it's 100 bux for the filter its self

Im not a big fan of Toyota but she looks happy so thats good anyways.

On a side note...
Dgrown - where are you buying your d-max fuel filters from? I work the parts counter at a local GM dealer and a d-max fuel filter, gm part number 19168674, suggested list is $39.53.....that's why I ask.

i was in little town 1000km from any where so they kinda had me by short and curleys but thanks for the info for next time i go to change it
