Prescription safety/sun glasses
Anyone have them? I really want to get a pair that I can wear at work but still stylish enough to wear outside of work. I work at a lumber mill but mostly with already sawn lumber so it doesnt get really dusty or anything.
I am looking at this brand right now. Specifically the climate control series. An optomatrist somewhat close has some of them.

I do landscaping and I've got a pair of prescription Oakley M frames. I've had them for 3 years and really like them a lot. The only thing that some people may not like is that the place where they were made cut out part of the original lense and inserted the prescription portions of the lense into the original. Imagine a pair of M frames with additional, normal style sunglass lenses inserted just in the area in front of your eyes. It is not seamless, but I don't think it is hugely noticable. I don't care how they look because they protect well and don't slip off of my head.

Yeah without a prescription they are about $175 plus!!! The Wileys would be about $200 or so with a prescription lenses.

i have the wiley x p-17 frame with my prescription, depends on ur prescription, you have to be careful about the curve in the frame. the more blind you are, the less curve you can have.....

How do you like them? Yeah, most optometrist said I couldnt get any type or wrap around lens with a prescription. I guess contacting the mfr. with my prescription would be the first step before deciding which pair I like.

at first, ur kinda out of balance til you get used to them, but now i wear them all the time, they are really comfortable and have a rubber nose piece so they dont slide down and dont put alot of pressure on my nose like my regular glasses, they leave a mark on my nose but not these.... my prescription is -3.50-1.50 on right eye, -3.00-1.00 on left, the lady said i might not be able to see out of them but i went ahead and got them anyways... they worked out good.

Well I have a pair of Wiley X Brick glasses ordered. Tried a bunch on and these fit the best. I work in a variety of light conditions so I am getting the Drivewear Transitions lenses. If I am happy with these I think I am going to get another pair just for outside of work. Something with a dark mirror tint.
